TERRORISM! UDOM student summoned to Court for financing AL SHABAAB 

​A student of the University of Dodoma (UDOM) Faculty of Health, Azan Abubakary has appeared in Dodoma District Court facing charges of financing terrorism in the country.

Charges brought forward to  Magistrate Mwajuma Lukindo claimed that the defendant sent at different times while in Dodoma In May and July, a total of 413,000 shillings through mobile money went to Mohamed Ibrahim for supporting execute acts of terrorism.

Due to these actions, the accused has allegedly broken the law under section 13 of the anti-terrorism law number 21 of 2002.

However, the defendant did not have to answer anything because the court does not have jurisdiction to hear the case.

Initially, the police commander of the Dodoma region, Lazaro Mambosasa said that the suspect was arrested after the Tabora region, a network of intelligence to combat terrorism in identifying been involved with the terrorist group Al Shabaab.
